Robo Arm.
Her are some pictures of my Lego robotic arm I built! It is very easy to program using up and down commands to control the arm and grabber hand, because the hand aotomatically activates when arm reaches surface see below picture.(notice function at the end of the gear train.)
Also it has a very stable rotating base built so it's cog will remain in the center wherever the arm reaches. See base below.
