Space settlements?

Yesterday I was on the cnn web page reading an article about
Nasa's new moon project. The moon project is going to be where they send some people to the moon with a big supply of food to learn to live of the land and do things like figure out how to make rocket fuel and stuff out of the natural resources on the moon and "live of the land" so to speak.

I also saw an article on a small settlement on mars basically a mining base.
The company that wants to do this is called somthing like "4 Frontiers"
they want to make it so scientists can study Mars in about 20 years!
So maybe some day soon people will live on the Moon and Mars.
